Merry Christmas

We woke up to a house full of fun things on Christmas morning! Santa made my kids happy for sure! We all opened presents at my house with my mom and my sister. Then we were off to Grandma and Grandpa Dominguez's to open more.
It seemed like the kids were never done opening presents all day long! Every time someone else came over, they brought more gifts...my kid's didn't think it was a bad thing at all! But I was thinking...where are we going to put all these toys?
My mom decided to get everyone a Nerf gun for Christmas, so that was the highlight of the mid morning...everyone had guns, and there were darts flying every where! Aiden and Amiah had so much fun chasing after Misty!
Then we all had Christmas lunch at Jacob's parents house. Thanks for the yummy food, it was delicious!
Once we were all full, we came back home, and relaxed a little, and cleaned up after the crazy morning madness!
We had an excellent Christmas, and we hope you all did as well!

Christmas Eve Traditions!

Christmas Eve was at my house this year! It was so nice to have all my family over for the holidays! I love it when we all get together, we always have so much fun!

Every year for Christmas Eve, the youngest kids put on the Christmas Story play for everyone. This year Amiah was the angel, and Aiden was Joseph, Devin was a Shepard, and Elizabeth was Mary! Oh...and Ronnie was the Donkey! LOL! They all did wonderful, I especially liked the part when Mary (Elizabeth) got off the donkey, then Joseph (Aiden) decided it was his turn to go for a ride!

Then we all sit around and sing Christmas songs. Amiah sang Santa is coming to town all by herself in front of everyone! She did awesome, I was so proud of her!

Then we all exchange gifts, and open them that night!

And of course, we couldn't end the night without playing SAMURAI!

Photo Shoot for Baby Jeremiah

Last night me and my good friend Mindy attempted a photo shoot for my precious baby boy! He did awesome for a newborn, he wasn't really that fussy, and he only had to eat once during the shoot. Newborns are just hard in general, they take so much time. She did get some pretty awesome shots though, I just wanted to share with you all a few of my favorites!

Thank you so much Mindy, I don't know what I would of done without you! You are the best!

Preschool Christmas Program

The kids had their annual Christmas Program for preschool. I didn't make it, but Jacob went and took some pictures for me. They ate yummy food, and then sang Christmas songs for all the parent's.
Then Santa came to see all the kids, and brought them presents! When they got home, they opened up their gifts with me. They told me how they were so excited that they got to see Santa!
I am sad I missed out, I just didn't want to take my one week old Jeremiah out in the cold weather. But thank goodness Jacob went and took pictures for me to enjoy!

Our little Jeremiah!

At almost one week old, here are a couple snap shots of Jeremiah! He is such a QT! We just love him so much, he is such a good baby!

Amiah's Gymnastics Review

Today Amiah had her gymnastics review, it was to show the parent's what all they have been learning. I didn't make it, but I sent my mom with Amiah, then Jacob took Aiden to watch! Thank you mom for taking her, I don't know what I would do without you! Love ya!

Here are some photo's of Amiah doing her routine, sorry, they are taken by my husband...and he really doesn't know how to work my camera! Plus he tends to cut things out, which drive me crazy, but I was thankful I got some pictures to work with!

Here is Amiah on the balance beam

Here is Amiah doing a back bend

Here is a picture of her on the bars

Here is a picture of her doing her TADA!

And here is a picture of her ? Rabbit? I don't know this girl sometimes...I swear she thinks she is an animal! Silly thing!

My Poor Little Bubba - Aiden

Ever since we have been home with the new baby, my poor little Aiden has been feeling not so much like the baby anymore. He has been acting up, and he is more whinny. I hope it is just a phase, and it gets over quick. He does love his new baby brother, and he holds him, and kisses him, but man...he is a little stinker lately. He sure knows how to push his dad's buttons, and he is good at it!

Pre-School Votes!

I thought this was way cute the preschool class did...They all knew Amiah and Aiden was expecting a new baby in the house, so each kid voted if the baby would be a girl or a boy! Of course all the girls voted girl, and the boys voted boy. Well the boys WON! I thought it was cute, and I appreciate them all getting involved, and supporting my kids. I did print out a picture of Jeremiah for my kids to take with them to school, to show off their new baby brother. The teacher put it up on the wall, and my kids are so proud of him!

SNOW in VEGAS!

Today I had to take my little 5 day old baby out for a Dr appointment. Just for a one week well check to see how he is doing, he is doing excellent! Although it had to be the one day it snow's in Vegas! Yeah...SNOW, I knew it might in the higher parts of Vegas, but the snow was everywhere, it was sooooo cool! I couldn't believe it was actually sticking to the ground. This is just a shot I got off my phone, so the quality is crappy, but I had to show you!

Crazyness

Well being home with 3 kids is crazy! Amiah and Aiden both have slight colds, so we have been trying to keep them to keep their distances from the baby. Which is hard, cause they have waited so long for him to come, they just want to hold him and watch him. But it looks like they are just about on the way to a full recovery of the sniffles...so that is going to be exciting! As for Jeremiah, he is doing great, he is an excellent baby! He sleeps through anything, and eats like a champ. Jacob and I are doing great, considering we are going off very little sleep, but that will get better in time. We are just so thrilled to have such a healthy baby boy, and to be able to enjoy him for the Holidays! We appreciate all your comments, and best wishes! As we get into more of a routine, I will post more pictures of us! Happy Holidays Everyone!

Out of town visitors!

This weekend we were grateful to have a surprise visit from my most favorite aunt and uncle! I was so shocked to see them standing at my front door on Thursday night, I loved it! My uncle Joel and aunt Sharla Jolley came to see us while there were in town for their 25th anniversary!

They live in Idaho, so we don't see them much, but I am so glad we got to visit with them on their trip down this way! Thank you so much you guys for stopping in and seeing us on Thursday and Saturday! We sure love and miss you, and Congratulations on the 25th anniversary, and may you have another great 25 years to come!

Bette Midler

Last night I got the opportunity to go watch Bette Midler with my mother-in-law. It was so fun! I love Bette, I always have, she is a funny lady! I love her singing, and her comedy, she has always been someone I would love to go see. Her show was funny, and great! She looks dang good for a woman her age.
She was cracking out some funny jokes all night...I was laughing so much! My favorite was about the Las Vegas Showgirl Dancers she had dancing with her...since her show was at Cesar's, she would call the dancers Cesar salad dancers with very little dressing!
It was a great night, and I appreciate Mary inviting me, I had so much fun! Although, I was disappointed that Bette didn't sing my favorite song of hers...the one about Bra's! Oh well...she did sing a lot of other great ones though! It was still a great show and I loved it!

Interesting Views

While my sister was in town this last weekend...she and my children had a very interesting conversation about how this baby is going to get out of my belly! YEAH! THANKS MISTY!

So she asked Amiah how she thought this baby was going to get here, and Amiah's reply was, "through my mom's boobs"! OK, I know they are big and all, but really, what is the obsession my daughter has with boobs these days? GEEZE!

Then she asked Aiden, his reply was the funniest, he said she is going to Poop it out! Then he made this fart noise, and reaches to his butt, and then acts as if he grabs a baby and holds it up, and says, Look at my Baby!

We were laughing so hard...then through out the whole night, he would just randomly fart out this baby, then carry one with what he was doing. We of course laughed every time!

So Thanks to my sister, my poor kids are so confused...LOL! Just kidding! It was just a funny conversation I couldn't help to tell...kids are great!

Belly Tradition

Every pregnancy I have had, I always painted my belly! Don't ask why, I just always thought it was so fun!

When Amiah was in my belly, she was a pumpkin! On my scrapbook page it says, in the heart of a pumpkin! CUTE!

Aiden was a Watermelon, only on my scrapbook page he is called a WHAT-A-MELON! HA HA

Now this baby is our little Turkey! he he he

Isn't my husband a good artist? LOL!

The kids thought it was so fun to watch their Dad paint on my belly, they wanted to join in as well! Amiah wanted a cat and Aiden wanted a Turkey like his mommas! SO FUN!

Our New Family Car!

We did it...we finally upgraded our vehicle last night. Such a huge step in life, going from a normal vehicle to a "Minivan"! There was just no way we were going to be able to fit three car seats in my little Hyundai Santa Fe.

I think our new minivan is pretty cool looking though, we ended up getting a Nissan Quest...BLACK! So my favorite color, it comes with a DVD player for the kids, with cordless headsets. That is going to be nice I think. It has all kinds of cool features to the backup sensors, to the backup camera...it is a little fancy and high tech, but very cool!

Thanksgiving 2008

This year for Thanksgiving we had the big Turkey Day at my house! We had both sides of our family over for dinner (My side and Jacob's side). It was so nice to have everyone over for the big day! I love my family so much, we are as crazy as they come! My in-laws probably think we are all mental...but we don't care, we love it! LOL! I love my in-laws too, but I have to say, my family is pretty loud and crazy!

It was a great day from the start, beings it was my anniversary and all...AH! SO SWEET! What is even sweeter about the day, we both share our anniversary with my grandparents, and Jacob's grandparents! How cool is that?
We had so much fun all day, from eating, visiting, eating, and playing games...did I mention eating! We ended up with so much food, I was so nervous we were going to run out of food, but boy, was I wrong! We have so much food left over...guess we will be eating turkey all week!

About the playing games part...my family loves games. We never have a get-together without playing games. We live for games! One of my cousin's taught us this new game called "Samurai"! It is the most hilarious game I have ever played...I swear I was going to give birth I was laughing so incredibly hard. I took a few pictures while they played...check these out...priceless!

First you must bow to your master
The one person sends it by making a crazy Chinese sound
This is how you have to receive it by making a crazy Chinese sound
The people on both sides of you have to cut you in the sides by making a crazy Chinese sound
Then you receive it, and send it one to someone else...It is the most funniest, loudest sounding game ever! It is a must play game I think for now on with our family!
Then we always have to do a jumping picture with everyone, so here is one of many we took!
I hope everyone else had a great Turkey Day! I know we sure had fun at mine! It just makes me so thankful for my family even more! I love them, and I am so lucky to have such a fun family, we are crazy, and we rock!

My Little Mother!

This morning I was driving the kids to school, and Amiah was playing with her My little Pony baby doll. Well she told Aiden to ask her what she was doing, so he does, and then she replies, "I am feeding the baby right now"...I look back in my little mirror, and she has the pony up her shirt! Then she continues to tell Aiden that is where baby's eat, they get milk from my boob, she also said, that is what Brittnie does when she feeds Gabi! By that point I was trying so hard to hold in my laugh...what is a mom to say?

Amiah and her crazy Faces!

Every time I have my camera out, my kids think they always need their picture taken...Go Figure? LOL!

Today I was doing a shoot at my house of my niece Gabi, and Amiah wanted some pictures of herself making some pretty silly faces...so enjoy!
Thank you Amiah for always wanting your picture taken...I am glad you are so PHOTOGENIC! I love you girl, you can always put a smile on my face! You Are Such A Silly Thing!
