Duck Creek

This past weekend we went up to Duck Creek for some fishing. It was great, we stayed in a cabin which was nice, cause it was super cold outside. I was really sad cause it wasn't real camping, but at the same time I was glad to have the convenience of the shower's and toilets there!
The cabin was great, it was 3 stories high, and had 6 bedrooms, and 5-1/2 bathrooms. A huge living room, kitchen, dining room, and bar.

There was tons to do outside from the see-saw to the zip lines. There was two swings on the middle patio, and even a hammock.
Aiden absolutely loved the zip lines, they were his all time favorite. Amiah tried it once, but didn't like it all. Aiden would go all by himself...he is such a dare devil! He did awesome...every time he got off he was get all tense, and say, "Me want to do that again", or "Rock and Roll"! Too funny!
Here is a shot of Victoria going down...she rocks!
We took all the four wheelers up there which was fun as well. We saw so many deer there just wondering by looking for food. They weren't that scared of humans...my guess is that they get feed pretty well by people up there.
As for the fishing, my kids didn't last long...One..the weather was super cold and windy. Amiah was freezing. Aiden was having bathroom issues...Second...he got stung by a bee while he was going to the bathroom...no fun for him. At least we found out he isn't allergic to them! Here are a few photo's I snapped while we fished with the kids there.

The grown-ups had more luck on the boat then on the shore. We caught a lot and let a lot go. All and all it was tons of fun!

On the way home the road was super curvy, and Amiah ended up getting car sick. She threw up as soon as we got the bottom of the canyon. Then she was fine until we got into the Gorge just out of St. George, and then she threw up all over in the car, so I decided to take over the driving since Jacob was driving like a wild man...then everyone passed out. I am a professional driver! It was a fun ride home for sure...Aiden thought it was fun to dump his Gatorade in his car seat...then he was yelling at us the whole way home, asking us why we gave him such a coldy drink...and he kept screaming...my butt coldy...he was making me laugh the whole time. Amiah slept the rest of the way home, while Aiden sat in his wet car seat.
You got to love kids! They always make life so much more exciting!

Last night the theme was "80's"! It was hilarious to see everyone's costumes...Brittnie and I went shopping at Savers and totally found some crazy clothes to sport around in. First Day of PreSchool

Hooray! Preschool finally started for my children today! All the waiting paid off, the kids were so excited to go.

I snapped a few shots of them ready to go, they both picked out what they wanted to wear, and we got their back packs all ready. Not only do they get to go to school together, but I get 6 hours of free time all to myself (until Dec. 9th). They go from 8 to 2, that is a long day for a 3 and 4 year old...But they loved every minute of it.

I was so BORED today...my house was so quite...it was driving me crazy! I need to start doing something now in my free time! I am going to start scrapbooking again, and try to get some more studio shoots going in the mornings!

San Gennaro Festival

Last night we went to the Italian Festival in Las Vegas with some family and friends. It was crazy insanely crowed. But the food was delicious, and the kids had a blast on the rides.

We stayed for a couple of hours, but it was so crowed, it was hard to walk around any where.

Here are a couple of pictures I snagged from the website. I didn't know we were going, or else I would have brought my camera!

4-Wheeling Fun!

Ever since my husbands parents got 4-wheelers we have had a blast with them. They store them in our garage, so we just take them out every once in a while. The kids absolutely love it!
Monday night it rained a lot in Moapa, so the next day, we took the kids on a ride through all the mud puddles we could find!

It was a blast, we got so muddy, but it is the type of mud that is like clay, so it really sticks to you!
Amiah rode with Jacob, and every time she would get mud on her legs or arms, she would want Jacob to stop, so she could wipe it off.

Aiden rode with me, and he had a blast, I don't go on the big hills, but I made sure we got good and muddy with all the puddles I could find. He loved it, he would just laugh, and want more!

Here are a few pictures we took when we got back.

Last Nights Bedtime Update

Well...Aiden as I thought didn't last the whole night in his own bed...About 2:30 a.m. I heard a loud MOMMA...then he started crying. I never got up, or said anything, hoping he would go back to bed...but the crying continued, and then I heard his little footsteps running down the hallway. He found me, and he climbed into my bed, and grabbed my hair and went to sleep.

I am going to try this again tonight though...I should of just got up and laid back down with him, but I am so tired at night, I have to pee all the time, so any sleep I can get is precious to me! LOL!

Amiah on the other hand did awesome...she stayed in her room the whole entire night. She woke up this morning, and ran into my room, and she was so proud of herself. So I think she is going to be fine with this change....YEAH! At least I got one out right?

Bedtime...My Bad!

Well tonight, I put my kids to bed in their own beds...Some of you know, my son has slept in my bed...since he was a baby! He is the biggest mommas boy ever. He loves to cuddle, and he falls asleep playing with my hair.

Ever since Jacob has been working nights, I have let Amiah sleep in my bed as well, since the kid's rooms are on the other side of the house.

I finally got Aiden potty trained through the day and night. So my next step is to get him out of my bed, before the new baby comes...he he

I can only blame myself for letting it go as far as this...but what I can say. I hate to listen to my kids cry, so I would rather get a good nights rest then be up all night with them. LAZY I KNOW!

I read them stories, then told Amiah I was going to put Aiden asleep in his bed, and I left the hall light on until he fell asleep...then I went and checked on her, and she was still awake. She wasn't happy about the whole thing, so I laid next to her until she feel asleep as well.

I don't think it is going to last the whole night...I wish it would. But my luck just isn't that good when it comes to bed time. Wish me luck!?

Any advice...rather then letting them cry them self's to sleep? I just can't bring myself to do that.

Happy 3rd Birthday Aiden!!!

Aiden turned 3 Saturday! It was a day full of family and friends...and kids running everywhere! He had a great birthday, and got spoiled with tons of toys!

We ate lots of yummy food, and had cake. The kids broke a pinata, and we filled their bags with candy, and sent them home! He he he
I asked Aiden what his favorite part of the day was, and he liked blowing out his candles on his cake!

Thank you everyone for helping us make his day so fun and special!
