There is so much going on with the house...it is exciting, but at the same time very stressful!
We painted all the interior walls this past weekend...we are all really sore and tired...but we keep on going. If you stop, you cramp up...but if you keep going, you are fine! That is what I have learned...I love getting old...NOT!
They are supposed to come do the finished electrical this week. Along with the arrival of my cabinets at the end of the week. I can't wait for them to be all done, and installed, they are going to look so pretty.
The stucco man is going to be putting pop outs on my window next week. Then once those are done, he is going to put the final layer of stucco along with the color. Yeah!!!
We still have to put the base boards and interior doors on...but I think I might of found a guy who is going to take that stress away from me.
I am trying to get my tile going next week...that is still in the works. Wish me Luck!
So, that is what is happening right now. I wish we could move in, cause it seems like we spend most of our time over there anyways...I am so behind on my house chores at our live in home...it is ridiculous...I don't have time to do anything it seems like...hence the lack of blogging...just fun quiz posts...I just can't wait for this house to be done, and us moved in, and be able to enjoy it, rather then think how stressful it has become.

What Is Your True Color?
What's Your True Color?
My Result: Yellow
You're yellow, the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you!
What are you?

Photo Shoot Gone Bad from the beginning...
This was my attempt of doing a photo shoot with my own kids...yeah...well...so much for that idea...before I could even get started this is what I got from my son!
So, I decided to take a bunch of pictures of my kids feeding the ducks, and doing what they do best...being kids... I pulled a fast one over them, and pose them real quick, and snap a few. It worked for a few shots, but not the whole time. Oh well...I guess I will play around again when I get a chance.
Flower Planting with Grandma Dominguez
Last weekend, my kids went over to Grandma Dominguez's house, and helped her plant some flowers. They had fun...Aiden especially like the water part...anything with water, he is all over it! Amiah loved planting them too, she kept saying, they were so beautiful! Here are some pictures I took for fun of the kids helping their Grandma!

WPPI (Wedding Portrait Photographers International)
Today Mindy and I, ventured out to the WPPI in Las Vegas. It was awesome. There were so many photographers there, they said there were over 10,000 throughout the whole convention. There was so many vendors, it was overwhelming to take it all in. We felt like a kid's in a candy store. I grabbed any and all types of information I could get my hands on, and more. I enjoyed my time, and I am ready for some fun shoots! I got tons of ideas, and inspiration. Wish me Luck!

Horton Hears A Who
Pre-Easter Egg-Citement with Preschoolers
On Friday March 14th, 08'. Amiah's preschool class took a field trip down to the park for a pre-easter egg hunt day! It was lots of fun, other then the wind...
The kids played and played...there are 20 kids in her class. So there were kids everywhere. After a while of playing, it was lunch time. They cooked hot dogs, and parents brought their favorite side dishes. They ate, and filled their bellies...then went on a walk. While they went on a walk, some of the parents stayed behind to hide eggs. When the kids got back, they handed them a basket, and the race was on.
Amiah did great at finding the eggs. Aiden on the other hand, didn't care too much about finding them, he was just happy to be there with all the kids around. Once he realized there was candy inside the eggs, he then wanted to find more. But his sister let him have some of hers.
It was a long day, with lots of screaming kids, we came out with tons of candy, and a fat lip...yep...Aiden got a fat lip...not sure how, but he bled pretty good, and it swelled up nicely! He kept showing everyone his fat lip too...he would say..."Ook at my fat ip"! Poor Guy!

Spring Is Here!
Tuesday, March 11, 2008
A normal day at the park with the kids!
Here they are off to the park...some days, they are the best of friends, other days, they fight over everything...I wish there was more of these days...they are so cute together.
We played on the jungle gym, then it was off to the swings, and springs.
The weather has been great, so we are trying to take breaks in the day, and enjoy this great weather...It has been in the 70's here, it is so nice. Not too hot, and not cold at all. We love it!

Try This!!!
How smart is your right foot?
A test from an orthopedic surgeon. This will boggle your mind and you will keep you trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't.
It's pre-programmed in your brain!
1. Without anyone watching you (cause they will think you are GOOFY) and while sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.
I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so!

House and Other Updates...
House Update
As far as today...the tile on the roof is being laid...they are a little more then half way on that. Jacob and our friends and family have been helping us with it all weekend. We are so thankful that we have great help!
Installation, and Sheet rock is done. The workers are coming back this week to finishing the muding, and tapping.
The Stucco guys are done putting up the black paper, along with the fencing.
It is coming together so quickly these last few weeks...I swear me and Jacob both seem like we are running around with our heads cut off...Today had to be the most stressful, tiring day we have experienced so far. We are both tired, and grouchy...we just hope that this house is worth it at the end.
I will post some pictures as soon as I get a chance...
Jacob
Like I said early, he has been doing the roofing...he works all day, then as soon as he gets back to the Valley, it is off to the house he goes. He usually doesn't return until around 7 pm. Long enough to shower, and eat, then go to bed for the next day. His work is getting busy, and he has some testing to do in about 2 weeks. They are sending him to do a job on the California border area. Which means, he won't be home at all during the week, just on the weekends. It is too far of a drive to come home everyday. I just hope it doesn't start until after the house is done. Poor guy, he has been working so hard on this house, and he won't be able to enjoy it everyday. I think the job will last a few months. I thought he said possibly 4-6 months. No Fun!
Monica
As far as me, I am busy on the weekends with my photography, and dance. I watch the kids all day during the week, and try to get the Grandparents to help me on the weekends, while I am busy doing my jobs. I am also constantly running around town, picking up checks, delivering checks, and getting bids. Jacob told me that I have to deal with everything inside the house, so I am trying my hardest to do that...it is challenging with a 2 year old, but we make it happen.
Amiah
She is doing great in her preschool class. She has so much fun learning. She is such a sponge, I love it. She is learning to sound out her letters right now. She knows how to write her name, and she barely tuned 4! I am so proud of her. She loves to read, or at least listen to stories. We try to make it to the library once a week for new books. She also loves to draw, she got that talent from both of her parents. She is really good, I have been saving all her art work that the preschool gives me. I want to make a big book for her someday when have the time.
Aiden
My crazy boy...He is so much fun, but has so much energy! He is constantly going and going. He barely sits still long enough to eat a meal. I think he got all that energy from my brother. We are trying to potty train him, but no luck on my part...if you have any ideas or helpful tips, please send them my way. He is all about sound effects, cars, balls, dinosaurs, and animals. He has such a fun personality, and he is constantly cracking me up. We spend 4-1.2 hours together each day alone, and he is my entertainment. He loves the outdoors. If he is inside, and someone is leaving, he wants to go too...if you don't take him, he starts crying. He is always just a on the go type of guy...I wonder if that will ever change?
