Slowest Eaters in the WORLD!

I swear by far, my kids are the slowest eaters in the world...they take forever to finish a meal! This morning it took my kids 2 HOURS to eat their cereal...2 HOURS!!! The TV is never on, they are not allowed toys at the table, some times I don't even allow talking cause it takes so long for them to eat! Which was my last option today again...but it finally worked!

Am I the only person out there that deals with this problem?

We are going to try a timer technique, just to see if that will work? We are going to set a timer for 30 minutes for dinner, and if they are not done by then, they don't get to eat...is that to mean? I just don't know what else to do?

No you are not mean...... We have a similar problem at our house. I have the same rules, and the same problem. Only Kesslynn eats in five seconds and then 5 minutes later has to eat again for 5 seconds and repeats this process until I remove the dishes.... Kairi just talks and talks and wiggles and falls and cries and wiggles and talks and then maybe eats. I have done the timer and then there is the whining that follows, but I can be mean to whining without guilt. So I get to the whining a little quicker so I can forget about the guilt of taking away her food.... There is a tradeoff....

Stressful Outings!

Ok, so to be honest...going anywhere with 3 kids is SO STRESSFUL! I don't really know how I am going to handle it! I know I can do it, but WOW, every time I have to go anywhere with all 3 kids, it literally stresses me out! Once I get home, I am so relieved and I don't want to go anywhere else the rest of the day! Is this a normal reaction? Or am I just a big weenie?

July 4th in Panguitch UT

Over the 4th of July, Jacob's side of the family rented a cabin in Panguitch UT.  We took the kids up there and enjoyed a few days fishing and relaxing.  It was a lot of fun, we enjoyed spending time with everyone.  The kids had a blast!!!  The firework show was awesome, they set off the fireworks right over the lake, so the lights reflect off the lake.  So pretty!!!  The kids loved it!  It's S'more's Time!!!  Check out Aiden's face here...this kid is just eye balling this mess...he ate so many, we finally had to cut him off after a while.  He loves Sugar!  My beautiful Amiah!  Jacob being a pig!  HA HA  Aleesia, Amiah and Aiden...CALM DOWN AIDEN, they aren't going to steel your s'more!  GEEZE Jacob, I see where Aiden gets it from!!!  Here's Jeremiah and Gabi!  These two had so much fun with each other.  This is a funny story!  There was a huge blowup mattress ...

Guess What

Just to let you all know...I am going to have another baby! I am due on December 9th . This was totally UN - expected ...but what can you do right? It sure came at a stressful time for us, but that is how life works I guess. I am excited , but at the same time very nervous . I am not sure what it is going to be like with 3 kids...but I am sure I can handle it. Everyone I have talked too, always said 3 is the hardest, then it gets easier after that...Great huh! We are going to try and NOT find out what the sex is this time...since I have everything for a boy and girl already ...I think that will make it exciting towards the end for us! Amiah is hoping for a baby sister, but I am hoping for a boy, so Aiden can have someone to play with that isn't a female...he needs some boys around. Aiden will be 3 and Amiah will be almost 5 when the baby comes...I am hoping to get Aiden potty trained by then, and I think Amiah will be a great helper. She loves babies so much!
