Another Fun Day at the Park!

Who's Jenny?

OK, I thought this was hilarious, but maybe I am just a super funny girl, and I think everything is funny! HA

Me and Amiah were sitting there watching something on TV...and one of those "Jenny Craig" commercials came on...and at the end of it, she says, "Have you called Jenny yet?" Then Amiah turns to me, and said, "Who's Jenny?"

I busted up laughing, it was so funny! Then she said, "Maybe she is a neighbor or something." I was laughing so hard.
I must be tired, and things are just funny to me. My sister called me shortly after that, and I told her the storey, cause I of course was still laughing over it...but she didn't really think it was as funny as I thought it was...huh...

Guess What

Just to let you all know...I am going to have another baby! I am due on December 9th. This was totally UN-expected...but what can you do right? It sure came at a stressful time for us, but that is how life works I guess. I am excited, but at the same time very nervous.
I am not sure what it is going to be like with 3 kids...but I am sure I can handle it. Everyone I have talked too, always said 3 is the hardest, then it gets easier after that...Great huh!

We are going to try and NOT find out what the sex is this time...since I have everything for a boy and girl already...I think that will make it exciting towards the end for us!

Amiah is hoping for a baby sister, but I am hoping for a boy, so Aiden can have someone to play with that isn't a female...he needs some boys around.

Aiden will be 3 and Amiah will be almost 5 when the baby comes...I am hoping to get Aiden potty trained by then, and I think Amiah will be a great helper. She loves babies so much!

(Me) Amiah, will you please clean up your toys from the living room

(Amiah) No, that makes me too tired, I just want to play a game instead.

My Beauty Queen

Amiah was once again in another pageant...she won "Cinderella Beauty"!

She had a long day, and we are so proud of her. She loves doing her pageants. They are stressful, and they do take up a lot of time, but she does enjoy them. She also loves her fellow Cinderella girls.

The Good Ol' Clark County Fair!

It's that time again...The Fair is in town!

My kids love every minute of it too...from the pony rides to the food, you just can't get enough of it! Well...we sure can, but we too were once like them!
Amiah has to make sure to take pictures with every odd thing she see's, which is fine by me! This is her with the clown that was ridding around the fair!
Then it was off to the pony rides...which my kids loved...and had to keep on ridding...
Then we attempted the carnival rides...

Aiden absolutely loved them...he is awesome...he had so much fun riding all the rides...too bad it was by himself...he really didn't care though.

This is what happened when we put Amiah on a ride...she freaked out...she plugged her ears, and screamed...NO FUN...

Don't worry though, cause Grandma Jolley was to the rescue.

They did have fun on the Farris-wheel. That is about all Amiah rode.

It was a day full of cotton candy, ice-cream, and corn dogs.

What fun we all had, but man...we sure need to get some rest!

Remembering My Grandma Jolley

My dad's Mother passed away on March 26th, 2008. She lived to be 89. What a life she lived, from being born in the era of transportation by horse and buggy and the use of outhouses; to the era of Internet, computers, and men on the moon.

She had 5 children on her own, then she adopted 4 more. My dad was one of the adopted ones, along with his brother.

For the passed few years, my grandma has been having blood transfusions every six months, due to her red blood count. They started there, and eventually she needed them as close as 3 weeks to survive. Finally, she decided, she didn't want to have them anymore.

I was on an emotional roller coaster for 2 weeks, not knowing what was going to happen, and when and if. I am sure everyone in the family was on the same ride I was on. It was hard, but it made the passing not so hard to accept, knowing it was going to eventually happen soon.

I was blessed to have her in my life, and I only wished we were closer, and could of had a closer relationship my whole life, and not just these passed 5 years.

When we went to the funeral, there were some pictures of everyone and their kids, and families, and this one just touched me so much. It is a picture of My Grandparents, and my mom, my sister and me...I am the baby in my Grandma's arms. I was so moved by this picture, not only are both my Grandparent's in it...and my Grandma is holding me...but the fact that now I have a picture of myself as a baby...I know, weird huh...but my mom didn't take any of me when I was little, so I am going to cherish this picture for many reasons!

It was always hard to fit in the Jolley side of the family after my parent's got a divorce. We left town, and my mom made it hard for us to be tracked down. But after about 10 years of being hidden...my dad's brother found us, and ever since then, I have stayed in contact with my dad's side of the family. It has been great to meet my cousin's, and my aunt's and uncles, and most importantly to rebuild a relationship with my Grandparents. Family means so much to me, and knowing that I am apart of such an awesome one...means even more. I love the Jolley side, they are great! I only hope to continue to build my relations with them, as I did with my Grandma! I love you Grandma...Rest In Peace!
