Salt Lake was "SnOw" Fun!!!

We went to Salt Lake this week...it was so much fun! I love going up there! We love spending time with my sister Misty! It is great! She always makes it so much fun for me and my kids...they love her!

So, we went up on Sunday, and came home Wednesday night. My sister had the week planned out for us, which was great, we love it!
Monday, we went swimming...yup I said swimming...it was a little weird, cause outside, there was snow everywhere on the ground, and we were inside swimming in the pool! It was fun, a little cold, but way fun! Aiden's poor little lips kept turning purple, but we kept him busy! I think we were there for almost 2 hours...He is such a dare devil...Misty had him jumping off the side, and going under the water! Amiah on the other hand...completely opposite! HA...but she loved it as well...just not getting anything on her face wet...Good times had by all...including Stephanie and her neices and nephew and Emily, and Tori, along with her neices.

Then on Tuesday we went to Mill Creek Canyon (the same place I took those amazing colorful leaf picture's) to play in the snow, and take some senior pictures of my cousin Kayla!
The snow was so deep...just look...notice Kayla is standing next to a drinking fountain!

Amiah's one goal in the snow, was to make a snow angel...and she accomplished it hand's down, it was like she was a pro or something!

Aiden just had fun throwing snow balls at me...I kept telling him to stop, cause he was going to hit my camera, but yeah...like a 2 year old listens...LOL, he had so much fun though...he kept going off the trails, and getting stuck, he thought it was fun!

Wednesday we went sledding at a park down the street from my sister's house...it was the best! The Hill was steap, and really slick. There was a little groove at the bottom, and if you were going fast enough, you could so catch air! It was great...

Everytime Amiah would go down she would scream, then at the bottom, she would start laughing.

Aiden would just hold on and laugh the whole way down. I swear everytime we would go down, after he would say, "That's Fun". He loved it.

Then later that day we went to Misty's basketball game that she coaches. She coaches the Churchill Chargers Middel School Girls V & JV Basketball teams. It was fun to watch her in action. She is a good coach, she talks good to the girls, and encourages them the whole time. Here are some pictures of the game.

Aiden made friends real quick with the girls...he is such a flirt!
Amiah was just having fun with her toys, and watching Misty!

We sure love going to Salt Lake. We can't wait until next month, when we get to see Misty again! Thanks for everthing Sis...you are the best ever!

Happy V-Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

This was the first year Amiah got to give out Valentine's...She helped me prepare them the day before. She was so excited to take them to school! She couldn't wait to give them to all the kids in her preschool class.

When I picked her up from school, she had a box the teachers made out of a cereal box, and decorated it with hearts...Way clever I thought; and she had tons of Valentines in there! She was so excited to show her brother, she even shared them with him, and he was so excited!

Every year for Valentine’s Day, I get my kids a card, a small toy, and some chocolates, and of course a kiss on the cheek! And every year I make them pose for me with their Valentine’s! I even make sure I get a close up of their kiss! Immediately after I kissed Amiah, she got the biggest grin, and asked to see it in the mirror! She loved it! Aiden, I don’t think he had a clue…he just loves to get and give kisses! But it is always fun for me to do it every year.

My kids have the greatest Grandparents…

My mom brought the kids over the cutest cupcakes for Valentine’s Day! Amiah got a white puppy, and Aiden got a brown bear! They are made with two cupcakes put together, with tons of frosting! They were too cute; I had to take a picture of them. Then later in the evening, Jacob’s parent’s brought over more fun things for the kids…coloring books, toys, and more…Yeah I know my kids are a little spoiled…But what can I say, they have great Grandparents too!

We even got some great news this evening…Josh (Jacob’s brother) proposed to his girlfriend tonight…and she said, “YES”! Yeah! We are so excited for them…Congratulations Josh and Britt, and we can’t wait until that baby comes too!!!

My mom and me thought that it would be fun to make cinnamon rolls with the kids. I thought I would share with you all the fun pictures we took. Just so you know...Aiden's cinnamon rolls...were thrown out...we didn't even bother cooking his...too icky! LOL, but we did have lots of fun doing them. And boy oh boy they tasted yummy!

Disney Land Trip

We took the kids to Disney Land over the weekend. It was a short trip, and we are all trying to still recover from it...but we had lots of fun. Amiah didn't like the rides as much as Aiden did...But she did enjoy herself. We took lots of pictures, and saw lots of the different characters. Aiden really liked the rides, not so much waiting in the lines. When we got off almost every ride, he would say, "That's Fun!"
